A new event for 2023 - ride 33 miles, a metric century, or a full century on amazing, low-traffic PAVED or GRAVEL country roads in and around scenic, friendly Urich, Missouri

Make it a full weekend at our beautiful, secluded ride headquarters, with breakfast & dinner Saturday,  camping (Fri & Sat nights), music, and more. Or come down Saturday morning and just ride - it's up to you.

By bicyclists - for bicyclists. This event supports MoBikeFed's statewide advocacy work for better, safer bicycling, walking and trails. Check out the VIP options - which give you a VIP MoBikeFed members privileges as well.

A full weekend of music, fun, food, camping - and some of the best bicycling in Missouri

Come on down to Urich Friday evening and enjoy some rural Missouri hospitality.

See the stars when you stay the night in our beautiful, secluded campground at Cedar Hill.

You're welcome to visit - or take a short ride - to the Red Fox Winery, just to down the road.

Camping isn't your only option.  You can bring your RV or 5th wheel to park at the campground (note extra charge). Or stay in a nearby hotel.

Saturday, Sept 17th - Main ride day, with food, music, and fun

Enjoy the full supported ride Saturday, with 33, 66, and 100 mile roads on the beautiful, low-traffic paved roads of Henry County.

Or tackle some of the most scenic gravel roads around - 33, 66, or 100 miles of gravel, at your choice.

You can mix and match, too -  ride 33 miles gravel, switch to pavement for the next 33 miles, any combination y ou like.

When you return from your ride, we'll have music, dinner Saturday evening, and fun around the camp site.

If you choose a camping option, stay Saturday night at Cedar Hill as well. We'll site around a campfire, roast some marshmallows, and enjoy the rural Missouri hospitality.

Sunday - explore the countryside on your own, with emergency SAG backup

Sunday is "explore the countryside" day.  We won't have organized routes, rides, or rest stops (other than ride HQ) but you can explore the countryside at your leisure - riding the routes or loops you didn't complete on Saturday, taking and out-and-back ride to one of several area destinations, or enjoying the nearby Katy and Rock Island Trails.

Though routes Sunday are not organized or coordinated, we will offer emergency SAG pickup services via cell phone from Ride HQ.

Ride-only options

Don't want to camp or stay the weekend?  That's find.  Just come on down Saturday morning and ride.  You're welcome to stay for Saturday dinner, too (included for campers, extra charge for non-campers), or just head on home whenever you're ready.

Missouri Bike Fest Route Options


Henry County has some of the most beautiful rolling countryside in the state of Missouri. From our ride headquarters in Urich, you can explore the Grand River Valley, Big Creek, White Oak Creek, the Urich Conservation Area, the Settles Ford, Blairstown, Le Tour, and Urich.

Routes will have SAG support and rest stops stocked with water and snacks spaced at 10-18 miles. 

You can ride loop 1, loop 2, and/or loop 3 in order for a paved OR gravel 30-ish mile ride, a metric century, or a century route.

Note that you MUST ride the loops in order (1, then 2, then 3). You can, however, switch from paved to gravel between loops (or even within a loop).

Lodging options

Lodging is available on-site - camping or RV sites.  Your camping fee is included in your full weekend ride fee.  Note extra charge if you bring an RV or 5th Wheel on site.

Location and directions

Venue for the ride is the secluded Cedar Hills Ampitheater near Urich, Missouri (Google map to venue entrance).

Directions to the venue from all different directions here.

Once you have arrived at the Urich exit on Highway 7, here are the directions to the venue, parking, and camping area:

  • From the Urich Hwy 7 exit, go north on Hwy B 1/3 mile
  • Turn left on County Road NW 750 (green street sign)
  • Go west 3/10th of a mile to the entrance to Cedar Hills Ampitheater (arched gate)
  • Turn left into the venue.
