Description:
Make any final adjustments to the alignment of the TransAmerica Trail through Missouri, have it adopted into the U.S. Bicycle Route System, and add wayfaring signs to the route.

Importance:
The TransAmerica Trail is the oldest national bike route through Missouri. It is used by some thousand bicycle tourists each year. Missouri has something of a reputation of being unwelcoming to TransAmerica riders and some riders will skip the state entirely. Adding the wayfaring signs will help make the bicycle tourists feel more welcome, help motorists along the route know to expect bicyclists on those routes, help promote bicycle tourism in Missouri, and help bicycle tourists and others using the TransAmerica route to find their way.
