Extend the shoulders on Hwy V to 6ft.

Importance:
Extending the shoulders on Hwy V would create a safer atmosphere for bicyclist to ride on. Right now the speed limit through that strip is 45 mph and without adequate shoulder for bicyclist to ride on, there is significant danger associated with riding in that area. As stated, Hwy 71 is a frequent destination for bicyclist and many enter Hwy 71 from the 71 by-pass located just a few miles from Hwy V.
