Description:
This bridge is one of the major overpasses that connect bicycling routes in the southern part of LS with those in the north. Pedestrians must also walk across this bridge to reach shopping and recreation areas. There is no shoulder on this high volume highway overpass. The bridge has trash and uneven pavement along its length. There is no easy, safe route to cross US 50 anywhere in Lee's Summit except at that the east edge of the city which is not available to most residents.

Importance:
This overpass is a priority for City leaders. It carries a high volume of traffic and, I believe, is already a project for MoDOT.
