Description:
Hwy 9 runs through a densely populated area of Parkville and is lined with residential housing and driveways opening out onto Hwy 9. The project is to add a sidewalk along Hwy 9, preferably on both sides of the road, but even on one side as a starter system.

Importance:
This project runs through a densely populated residential area with residences and driveways lining the road. The road is located in the middle of a large urban area and the area surrounding this road is as densely populated as it will every become in the foreseeable future. It is time to make this neighborhood a true part of the urban area by adding sidewalks through this residential neighborhood. There should be enough right-of-way for sidewalks.
