Importance:
Although the popular Frisco Greenway Trail is not far from Missouri Southern State University, there is no safe & easy connection. Newman Road has wide, bicycle-friendly shoulders, and the city of Joplin has marked bicycle lanes on Zora. Bike lanes and appropriate signage for a relatively short distance along Range Line Road could establish safe cycle connections between two popular destinations for relatively little cost.
