Description:
Improve bike, pedestrian and handicap access at existing signalized intersections. Proposed improvements include adding pedestrian signal heads, enhanced pedestrian pushbuttons, construct handicap ramps and stripe cross walks. Intersections include Route 76 at Route 376, Route 76 at Route 165, Route 76 at Roark Valley Road, Route 76 at Route 65, Route 165 at Green Mountain Drive and Route 65 at College Ave.

Importance:
This project will improve the safety of pedestrian and bicylces as well as handicapped people crossing the existing signalized intersections.The project is cost effective as it would provide safety enhancements to a traffic signal system already in place.

Obstacles:
We don't have any information regarding the condition of the existing MoDOT trffic control systems.
