Importance:
The pavement condition on this section of Route 66 through Missouri is very bad--cracked and crumbling. The route is used by many bicyclists and motorcyclists and the pavement condition is creating a very dangerous situation. This was identified by bicycle groups who bicycled the entire Route 66 section across Missouri as one of the two most difficult/dangerous spots in the entire state.
