Designate Kingshighway (US 61) from Cape to Jackson as a bicycle route. Use new & existing paved shoulders as striped/stenciled/signed bicycle travel lanes

Importance:
[6.2 miles] US 61 from Cape to Jackson. This proposed project would provide safe travel for commuters between Cape Girardeau and Jackson, MO. A designated bike travel route would encourage more commuters and casual riders to use this corridor. This section of US 61/Kingshighway is already equipped with ample paved shoulders, so costs would be limited to lane striping and signage
