Springfield is considering bringing a 'party bike' similar to Kansas City's Pedal Hopper (http://pedalhopper.com/blog/kc/):

People who want a leisurely bike ride through Springfield while partying with their friends might someday be able to hop on a "trolley bike." . . .

The trolley would allow up to 10 people to pedal, which helps charge the battery, while six more passengers sit on a bench in the back. Another person, who would remain sober, would drive the vehicle.
