Why support the Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation?
The Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation is the only statewide organization working on your behalf to improve all bicycling, walking, running, and trails across Missouri.
Your generous membership and donation gives us the support we need to get out there and let decision-makers know that every Missouri city and town, every Missouri county, and every MoDOT District needs safe places to bike and walk.
Members like you power our work. When ordinary people work together to work for a better community and a better state, our leaders listen.
And your membership in MoBikeFed makes a BIG difference--because when we change law and policy at the state level, it affects every city and county across Missouri.
We need your support to roll forward with our Vision for Missouri:
- Create a world-class bicycle and pedestrian transportation system throughout the state
- Create a truly statewide, interconnected trails system throughout Missouri; connect the Katy Trail & Rock Island Trails from state line to state line and to every community along the way
- Create safe bike/ped access across hundreds of Missouri bridges, the Missouri River, and other rivers
- Improve safety for all road users
- Add shoulders, sidewalks, crosswalks, bicycle routes and trails, while reducing the impact of dangers like rumble strips and drain grates
- Stop proposed bicycle bans
- Encourage more of your friends and neighbors to bicycle and walk more often
- Pass statewide bicycle and pedestrian safety legislation
- Engage the support of Missouri members of Congress for better bicycling, walking, and trails
