St. Louis could take its place alongside dozens of U.S. cities that have launched a bicycle-driven form of public transportation.

A new study released by the Great Rivers Greenway confirmed that a bike-share program can be done, and described what it likely would look like.

“The St. Louis region has many of the necessary characteristics required to make bike-sharing successful and continue its development as a bike-friendly community,” according to the study.
