At least 25 Missouri Rock Island Trail, Inc., (MORIT) members, Rock Island trail supporters, and 10 board members from across Missouri met at Missouri Parks and Recreation Association for the annual membership meeting in Jefferson City March 5.

The group discussed the future preparations for the trail, following the Surface Transportation Board’s (STB) announcement that negotiations between Ameren Missouri and Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) could move forward.
