Save Tower Grove Avenue: We did it! | SafeTGA
Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:
MoBikeFed comment: Major kudos to SafeTGA and its allies in the neighborhood, who have executed an exemplary neighborhood advocacy campaign on one of St. Louis's busiest and most important bicycling corridors. We did it! Buffered bike lanes were painted on Tower Grove Avenue last week! Cyclists on St. Louis’ busiest bike route will now have dedicated lanes when Kingshighway closes in a few weeks.
We’ll detail the lanes in a later post, but for now we’ll savor the moment, thank our friends, recall how we got here, and share thoughts about what’s next.

Many thanks to the area neighborhood associations, to St. Louis area advocacy organization Trailnet, to Alderman Conway, to Mayor Slay, and to St. Louis City Public Works for the roles they all played in making this project happen.
