A Lebanon man is accused of hitting a bicycling boy with his car and then leaving the child, who had a broken leg, at the roadside after pulling his bicycle from under the car.
Daniel Braxton Cornett, 25, faces a class D felony of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident after an investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Tuesday. Cornette has been released from the Laclede County Jail on his own recognizance.
