A new connection between Springfield area greenway trails will soon give trail users a greater range to run, walk and bike. A new section will connect the Wilson's Creek and South Creek Greenway trails. . .

Soon, he and others on the eight-mile South Creek Greenway will be able to continue right onto the two-mile Wilson's Creek trail via a connection that's just more than a mile long.

"I think that's going to be exciting, because also, my wife and I come over here with our bicycles, and it's just wonderful to ride the trails," said Frederick.
