To connect Grant’s Trail to the River Des Peres Greenway, which is 6.5 miles long and attracts 100,000 people a year, two bridges will need to be built — one across Bayless Avenue, the other over the River Des Peres. . .

MoBikeFed comment: A continually expanding trail and on-road bicycle system around the region is the biggest reason the amount of bicycling in St. Louis is nearly 4X what it was in 2000 and nearly 5X what it was in 1990.

Kudos to Great Rivers Greenway for continually moving forward the trail expansion and connection projects.
