The Kennett Police Department is searching for a suspect who hit a child riding on her bike and then left the scene. . . .

Police report an 8-year-old child was riding her bicycle on Walnut Street when a small white car ran the stop sign at the intersection of Clipper and Walnut Street and hit her back tire. . . .

One witness described the suspect vehicle as a small two-door white passenger car with a wing on the back and a loud exhaust.
