The Bicycle and Pedestrian Initiative’s goal is to become a leading voice in advocating for the implementation of pedestrian and bicyclist safety measures throughout St. Louis.
By focusing on critical hotspots where bicycle and pedestrian safety have become an issue, we will galvanize the general public in grassroots campaign strategies to effectively motivate elected officials to take immediate action in correcting the problem.

In collaboration with the City of St. Louis, Trailnet, interested agencies, and concerned citizens, we will advocate for, and ensure the implementation of, pedestrian and bicyclist safety measures, such as crosswalks, signage, enhanced lighting, speed monitoring signs, and any other measures shown to be effective.
