MoDOT has opened a new bike and pedestrian path. It connects the Monarch Levee Trail in St. Louis County to the Katy Trail in St. Charles County via the eastbound I-64 Daniel Boone Missouri River Bridge.

"I'm really glad," cyclist Gary Hawkins said. "I think the more we can get these connected, the more you can kind of spread it out and make it accessible to more people."

With easier access getting from county to county, cyclists can relax and enjoy the ride.
