Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

The Magi Foundation’s Pacific trail project would make the city part of two trails that would eventually merge at Pacific into one 550-mile-long trail.

The foundation worked last year to save the 100-year-old Bend Bridge as the future trail crossing. Without the bridge, the organization will continue to develop a trail system, Myers said.

MoBikeFed comment: Communities across Missouri are excited to become part of the Katy Trail - Rock Island Trail system, which will total over 500 miles when complete.

We laud and support communities like Pacific that are working hard to plug in to this new--and amazing--cross-state trail system.
