Katfish Katy's, on the Katy Trail at Huntsdale, reopens with expanded restaurant, seating | columbiatribune.com

Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

Katy Trail hikers and bikers, along with boaters and other floaters on the Missouri River, once again can count on finding a welcome place to stop and dine or stretch at The Station House at Katfish Katy’s, Huntsdale’s only business.

The riverside/trailside business reopened a month ago after a monthslong closure to allow a major renovation that accommodated an expanded menu, live entertainment and extra parking intended to cater to more than just river and trail users. . . .

The Station House at Katfish Katy’s now has a full commercial kitchen, dining room with a capacity of 132 seats and a small stage in the dining room for live bands — eight have performed so far. A larger outside stage is available for groups and events.

The Cutlers have owned the business for two years. Katfish Katy’s is an important pit stop for river traffic and Katy Trail users.

MoBikeFed comment: Katfish Katy's has been closed for renovation for some time. The new restaurant, with its nearby camping, will certainly be welcomed by Katy Trail users.

Katfish Katy's is in Huntsdale on the Katy Trail, about half way between Jefferson City and Columbia.
