The 4,600-foot length of trail, part of a two-phase project to extend the Hubble Creek trail, will connect the city park to Jackson's Civic Center. The overall project is intended to stretch three miles from a proposed dog park north of the Jackson Civic Center to connect Brookside Park with Jackson City Park.
Construction began this summer, and Bollinger said it is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
