Custom bike racks will soon be strategically placed throughout Jefferson City as part of an ongoing effort to make the community more welcoming to visitors and bicyclists, according to a news release from the Jefferson City Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB).

The project is coordinated by the Discover Jefferson City Foundation, a group of volunteers who work cooperatively with the CVB to develop and promote tourism in Jefferson City. The foundation plans to use raised funds to purchase the bike racks while working with the city to determine their final locations.
