The community is invited to celebrate the opening of the new 16-acre Chain of Rocks Park on the Missouri side of the river. The grand opening is scheduled for Sunday, April 14.

This project, spearheaded by Great Rivers Greenway, has revitalized the park, introducing picnic areas, a new event lawn, a designated food truck area, portable restrooms, and drinking fountains for daily use.

In addition, the park now has a newly constructed 1.5-acre prairie landscape, restored wetlands and woodlands habitats, and a rain garden. Enhanced security features, including cameras and lighting in the parking lot, have also been installed.
