Quad State trail meeting planned for Kansas City July 2nd

Aaron Bartlet of the Mid-America Regional Council sent this announcement
Ross Greathouse, 2nd Vice President of the Nebraska Trails Council is putting together a four state trail consortium (NE, IA, MO, KS) to talk about how to link up some of the major cities/trails in the region. I realize this is short notice but Ross has asked me to contact anyone that might be interested in meeting on July 2, 2003. We will hold the meeting at the MARC offices located at 600 Broadway, Suite 300, Kansas City, MO 64105, in the downtown KC area. The meeting will start at 9:00 but we encourage those of you traveling from far distances to come even if you will arrive later than this. In the afternoon we will take a field trip to look at some of the trail opportunities discussed.

When I spoke to Ross Greathouse today he said that he planned to have additional meetings in the future. If your unable to attend there will be other opportunities.

The type of information that we need for the meeting includes: all known active, inactive and abandon railroads; and any statewide or regional trail plans.
