Olivette Bikeway opens Oct 4th

From Bob Foster, Chair of the St. Louis BikeFed:
The Olivette Bikeway will open Oct. 4 after three years of planning and construction. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the event at 2 p.m. and a bicycle safety rodeo for children ages 5 through 12 will be at 3 p.m. Both events will take place in Stacy Park.

The first stretch of the bike trail and pedestrian walkway is for bicyclists, skaters, walkers, runners and families with baby strollers or wagons.

The trail will be open for general use from 2 p.m. until dusk.

Congratulations to the hardworking Olivettians!
