Joplin Trails Coalition pursures 45 miles of rail trails

The Joplin Trails Coalition is planning to develop the 16-mile Ruby Jack Trail and is working to acquire title to a second 29-long mile rail corridor. There is the possibility the two trails could be linked:
Curtis also said that the 45 miles of trail that would be created would be the second longest trail in the state to the well-known Katy Trail.

"It seems like it would be an excellent resource for southwest Missouri as well as the state as a whole," he said.
