Now the supporters have come out of the woods to organize a rally at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 at Creve Coeur Park.
Julie Dougherty, an organizer and a member of the city parks commission, said she hopes to round up "pedestrians, bicyclists and users of all ages" to counter the heat that the trails advisory group had been getting from suburban property owners who don't want trails laid across their subdivision property.
