Beautiful weather and autumn leaves for BikeMO, October 15th
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Tue, 10/11/2005 - 11:47pm
Bicyclists,
I hope you'll consider coming out Saturday, Oct 15th, for the first annual BikeMO--a ride in support of the Missouri Bicycle Federation and bicycle advocacy in Missouri.
I just checked the forecast for Saturday and what do you know--it looks like a PERFECT day for bicycling: Mostly sunny and a high of 76.
And don't forget the autumn leaves . . . mid-to-late October is generally just when they are turning in that part of the state.
We have people pre-registered from all around the region--Kansas City, St. Louis, Kirksville, Rolla, Springfield, Columbia, and many others.
Routes are 32, 62, and 100 miles in the rolling hills of beautiful Callaway County.
Details:
Pre-registration is only $20 (price goes up $5 day of the ride).
Hope to see you there Saturday!
