Photos of BikeMO and a summary of the remarks made to BikeMO 2006 participants by Deputy Attorney General Karen Mitchell and Attorney General Nixon's wife Georganne were posted to the Missouri Attorney General's web site today:
Members of the Missouri Bicycling Federation presented Mrs. Nixon with more than 2,000 messages and signatures in support of extending the Katy Trail to Kansas City. Mrs. Nixon told the group that her husband has long been a supporter of the Katy Trail, going back to his days as a state senator when the trail was formed in the 1980s and continuing to his current lawsuit to preserve the historic railroad bridge at Boonville as part of the trail corridor.
