Laurie Chipman receives Environmental Excellence Award
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Fri, 09/21/2007 - 6:38pm
Laurie Chipman, long-time MoBikeFed Board Member and Vice-President, has received an Environmental Excellence Award from Kansas City-based Bridging the Gap.
No one is more deserving of this type of award than Laurie, who spent countless hours helping MoBikeFed get off the ground. She designed MoBikeFed's logo, created issues of the newsletter, ran advocacy campaigns, attended meetings, started MoBikeFed's monthly email newsletter, raised funds, help run BikeMO, and did too many other things to even mention.
And volunteering for MoBikeFed is only one of Laurie's contributions to the community.
