City of Leavenworth Trail Network Plan

Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

The City-Wide Trails Master Plan sets forth a long-term framework that
guides future planning, design, and implementation of a city-wide system of multi-use trails and on-street bicycle routes. This system provides safe and convenient access for all users to various destinations throughout the City.

The City-Wide Trails Master Plan was initiated by the City of Leavenworth, Kansas, to identify the locations and types of bicycle and pedestrian facilities that provide connections to community parks, activity centers, the Leavenworth County regional trail system, and other significant destinations.

MoBikeFed comment: This is a nice example of a citywide trails plan--one other cities who are putting together a trail network plan should take a look at.
