Letter from the editor: What I learned during Bike to Work Week | Springfield News-Leader

Headlines are quick hits from media outlets from Missouri and around the world. Follow the headline link for the full story. The source of this headline says:

As Springfield's annual Bike to Work week approached, I joked around the office that I didn't need a special week to commute on my two-wheeler. I'm no stranger to cycling to the office. In Fort Collins, Colorado, I lived about a mile out, giving me the chance to leave my car parked for days at a time. I've even ridden in to the News-Leader a few times. I'm no expert, but despite my previous experience, I learned a few things I wasn't expecting as I took my Trek to the office over the last two weeks.
