Groom's family has lived on Graeler Drive in unincorporated St. Louis County for the last three years.

It's a residential area that Groom said experiences a high volume of speeders at different times during the day.

"It's a straightaway so there are people speeding up and down constantly Usually I would say they're going at least 40," she said.

Following her two experiences, Groom is now pushing county officials to take action.
