After many years of work, the first portion of the MKT/Katy Bridge at Boonville is finally open to the public and ready to go.

Eventually the bridge will be integrated as part of the Katy Trail. With Phase I, a portion of the bridge will be open to the public, with stunnig views of the river and the bridge itself.

This has been a project many years in the making.

MoBikeFed comment: Restoration of the Katy Bridge at Boonville for inclusion as part of the Katy Trail is an issue we have followed and supported for many years. It has been an amazing project for the Boonville community. It is wonderful to see this very long-term project finally come to fruition.
