Bar K is a new project currently in development in Kansas City that will combine a 2-acre, fully-staffed dog park with a bar/restaurant/coffeehouse.  The developers are hoping to locate Bar K on the western edge of Berkley Riverfront Park, partially under the Heart of America Bridge, right on the Riverfront Heritage Trail.  To generate interest/excitement in the project, Bar K is hosting a “Pup-Up Party and Dog-Friendly 5K” at this location on Sunday, July 10 from 5-9 pm.  More info about this event can be found here:  https://www.facebook.com/events/827827387352252/
