10:30 a.m.: Park and Walk Trail (1/3 mile)
11 a.m.: Ribbon Cutting at Bridge

Celebrate the trail extension and new bridge connecting Indian Creek Trail and Blue River Trail. This completed phase will eventually connect to the Trolley Track Trail.

We will meet in the parking lot and walk approximately 1/3 mile to the new bridge for a ribbon cutting.

DIRECTIONS: 71 Hwy; west on Bannister; right on East 95th Terrace. Park in Bannister Federal Complex DEERS Building Lot (2306 East 95th Terrace). Look for EVENT TODAY flags and KC Parks staff.

2. Trolley Track Trail, stretching north to UMKC and the Plaza in Kansas City
3. The Blue River Trail, which will eventually stretch south to the Kansas border and north to the Missouri River

This new segment is short but essential in bringing all three of these trails together.
