Sujeet Gurung, 25, of the 3600 block of Meramec Street, was charged Sunday with two counts of DWI-serious physical injury, DWI-physical injury and leaving the scene of a crash.

Charging documents say Gurung was speeding in a Toyota Corolla shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday near Chippewa Street and Gustine Avenue when he ran off the road, struck two girls and drove off. The girls' ages were not available.
