A late Vietnam veteran from northeast Missouri is being remembered in a special way.

On Monday, a new metal bench along the Forest Lake Area Trail System at Thousand Hills State Park was inaugurated in honor of Trey Young, of Kirksville. He died in June 2012.

MoBikeFed comment: FLATS is a planned multi-use trail connecting the city of Kirksville with the nearby Thousand Hills State Park. Portions of the trail are now complete and other segments in planning or construction.
