The Halls Ferry Road-New Halls Ferry Road corridor saw the second-most pedestrians killed or hurt in crashes in the county in 2024, with 13, after Lindbergh Boulevard, with 18, according to the report.

Between 2021 and 2024, eight pedestrians or bikers were killed in crashes on Halls Ferry, making it and West Florissant Avenue the deadliest stretches per mile, the report shows.

In 2023, the Halls Ferry corridor was the most dangerous in the county, when there were 14 pedestrians involved in crashes, according to that year’s report by Trailnet.

Of the 14, five were in a roughly 500-foot section of New Halls Ferry slightly north of Interstate 270 and just south of Sugar Pine Drive.
