Bicycle, Pedestrian, & Trails Day at the Capitol & Legislators Bicycle Ride

DateTime:
04/25/2022 - 12:00pm - 5:30pm

Join supporters of bicycling, walking, and trails from around the state as we come together to talk to our legislators about topics in MBF's Vision for Active Transportation in Missouri and other current bicycle, pedestrian, and trails issues and projects.

Transportation, recreation, health and fitness, sustainability, tourism, business, economic development, and more are all on the agenda.  Specifically for 2022:

  • Supporting use of a small portion of Missouri's federal stimulus funding (ARPA) to build a major section of the statewide Rock Island Trail

  • Distracted driving/texting while driving legislation

  • Improved Drivers Ed requirements for young drivers

  • Our annual Bicycle Ride with Legislators from the Capitol to the Katy Trail (North Jefferson Trailhead) and back

    • Bring your bike to Jefferson City and join us for a fun ride with your Missouri state legislators and state officials!
