The Covering House 2013 Race for Refuge

Join us Labor Day weekend at Tower Grove Park to raise awareness of sex trafficking in the St. Louis area. The 5k will be one full lap around the park. Run for fun or try to win it all! Prizes will be given out to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

 

Held each year, hundreds of people from all over the city of St. Louis join us for a morning of running (or walking), fellowship, and awareness.

Events: 5k run; 10k run; 5k walk

 

When: Saturday, August 31st 2013

Where: Tower Grove Park: Son’s of Rest Shelter

Time: 5 and 10k run: 9 am; 5k walk: 9:15

 

Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the races!

All proceeds go to The Covering House to help girls under the age of 18 that have been victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Cost: $25 now, $30 after July 31, 2013

Participants who register BEFORE Friday, August 16, 2012 will receive a free T-shirt. After August 16, T-shirts are first come, first serve!
