DateTime:
08/06/2016 - 8:00am - 4:00pm The Lupus WolfRide GranFondo is a long-distance cycling event designed to raise awareness of lupus and to raise funds to help improve the lives of those who suffer from its brutal impact. With a start/finish in Columbia, IL, the routes are equivalent to the half iron and full iron man distances (56 & 112 miles), and an added Family Fun Course – The Wolf Pup (21 miles) and Lilian's Loop (5.5 miles).
In partnership with TrailNet, the Lupus Wolfride GranFondo is a Century Ride and can be used to qualify in the Century Club.
Designed for recreational cyclists and racers alike, the Lupus WolfRide has been named the "best organized charity cycling event in the region".
Join us in Columbia to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, and rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from its brutal impact.
ROUTES
GRANFONDO
The Granfondo is a chipped and timed ride. The distances are 56 and 112 miles. The route is a 56 mile loop that you ride twice for the 112 distance. This is a perfect ride if you are training for an iron man or half iron. The Lupus WolfRide GranFondo qualifies as a century ride and TrailNet members can consider this a Century Club Ride.
There are Rest & Refuel Stops approximately every 10 miles along the route. These stops are staffed by our sponsors and volunteers.
Start Time: 8:00 AM
