Cross the mighty Mississippi River on one of the last remaining riverboat ferries. Experience the history of the Great New Madrid Earthquakes of 1811-1812. Tour a Civil War era mansion and museum, and visit a restored early 1900's one-room schoolhouse. Check out one of the nation's premier wildlife refuges and possibly spot a bald eagle or two.
