Yellow Brick Road Ride

 Please join us Saturday, October 1, 2011 for a day of family fun in the Flint Hills of Pottawatomie County, KS. The 7th Annual Yellow Brick Road Ride will begin/finish at Wamego High School, 8th & Elm, Wamego, KS. Registration begins at 630am. The YBRR is held in conjunction with OZtoberFest, an event with activities for all ages. New this year: We are excited to offer a new long route this year. The paved roads take you through FOUR towns (Wamego, Saint George, Manhattan and Westmoreland). It also takes you across the historical Oregon Trail and other historical places of interest. The Pathfinder will have bicycle related items for sale from 630am-745am. 25% of proceeds are donated to the WamSagMan Trail project. Net proceeds from the ride are deposited in the 501c3 WAM-SAG-MAN Trail account in the Wamego Community Foundation.
