Yellow Dog Bicycle Ride

Start: Hamel Community Park
10 Park Ave.
Hamel, IL 62046
Routes: 26, 40 or 47 miles
Terrain: Flat to moderate with a few big hills on longer routes
Features: A quiet ride through the prairie on country roads that visits small towns and local establishments for food and drinks.
Directions: Take I-55 north in IL to the Hamel exit 30 (exit is 10 miles north of I-270). Turn left on IL-140; go west through Hamel .7 miles and turn left into the park. Parking also available at the school next to the park.
Fees: $8 Member, $13 Non-member, $3 Child
