Tour de Fat hits Kansas City May 3rd, 2003

Tour de Fat was in St. Louis April 27th and will be in KC Saturday, May 3rd, 2003.
From New Belgium Brewing's Tour de Fat website:
"Expect to see the oddest, the rarest, and the most innovative bike games and bike contraptions this side of the Mississippi River. Take a moment to peruse our vintage bike show and witness cycling history before your very eyes."
There will be a morning fun ride and prized for the best-dressed bikes and riders.
Kansas City, Missouri - May 3, 2003
Venue: Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park
Benefiting: Earthriders Trail Association
Morning Fun Rides: On site registration only. all rides cost $5- proceeds go to ERTA. Registration for road and mountain rides at 8:30 a.m., departing at 9 a.m. Cruiser rides register at 9:30 a.m., departing at 10 a.m. Maps will be provided at registration.
Afternoon Ballyhoo: 12:00-6:00pm
Featuring: Live Music from Back Porch Mary 12-2 p.m., Brody Buster 4-6 p.m., and New Belgium's wacky bike games at 2 p.m. New Belgium Groovy Goods on sale- Benefiting Trips for Kids Classic Cruiser Bike Show all day long. Face painting, bike decorating, and balloons for kids Sideshow performances by Handsome Little Devils- 3 p.m. BMX Ecxpo performed by Mile High Extreme Team- 4 p.m. Chance to win a New Belgium limited edition cruiser bike- 4 p.m.
