EarthRider's Michael Gier writes about using a helmet

The KCStar has an article by EarthRiders' Michael Gier about reasons to use a helmet when riding. Michael was inspired to write when the Star (again) showed a photo of a cyclist riding without a helmet as part of a story.

Comfort, convenience and expense are not excuses. Today's helmets are cool and fit well, they are lighter than ever and cheap compared with a brain injury. Plus, local organizations will provide help to subsidize a helmet for anyone who asks. Check with your local police department.
