MoBikeFed proposes highway safety legislation
Submitted by Brent Hugh on Sun, 11/23/2003 - 8:46am
Members of the Missouri Bicycle Federation have been working to develop highway safety legislation for consideration during Missouri's 2004 legislative session.
The initial proposal is now available for download (MSWord format, updated 29 Dec 2003).
Many thanks to those many members of the Missouri Bicycle Federation and the St. Louis Bicycle Federation who have put in many hours and much thought creating and critiquing the various sections of the proposal.
Please note that this is certainly far from the final version of the legislation--it will certainly change as it goes through the legislative process and as we receive input from various quarters.
